Which languages are supported?
The app supports English and Simplified Chinese. Support and privacy pages are also available in both languages; use the language button at the top of the page to switch.
What is free?
All creative tools are available to try. Basic glass compositions can be saved and shared for free. Your first creation includes full export access. The first successful save or share uses this introductory experience; exports remain available for the current creation until you finish it or restart the app. Later exports of works with multiple layers, professional shapes or effects require the lifetime upgrade. It is a one-time purchase with no automatic renewal. The app displays the price returned by the App Store; review Apple's confirmation sheet before purchasing.
How do I purchase or restore?
Open Works, then settings/About & Privacy, and select Glass Layers Pro. The purchase screen also appears when exporting a professional work without the required entitlement. On a replacement device or after reinstalling, use the Apple account used for the purchase and select Restore Purchases. Purchasing and restoring require an App Store connection. If the app offers to reload the price, retry and check connectivity.
Can I edit saved works?
Open a saved work and select Edit. Supported works retain editing resources and can be reopened with their layers. Save the result as a new work; the earlier work is retained. Older works without editable resources show a notice that you can continue only on a flattened copy. Recovery drafts help you resume unfinished editing; read the prompts before replacing or discarding them.
Camera or saving problems
Use Open System Settings in About & Privacy to check camera and photo-addition permissions. Photo import remains available when camera permission is denied. iCloud photos may need to download first. Saving with Original disabled adds one finished photo; enabling it adds the finished photo and original while creating one app work record.
Does deleting a work delete my system photos?
No. Trash and work-deletion controls manage app-owned copies. Delete system photos separately in Photos. Unfinished drafts are separate from work history. Glass Layers does not operate cloud sync; system photo synchronization and device backups follow your settings.
Browsing and favorites
Open Works from the top-left of the camera screen. Swipe vertically to browse, tap to open and hold to favorite. Home, Favorites and Trash provide separate views. You can replay the onboarding from settings.
